We will be celebrating the tremendous life of Michael Z tomorrow night from 6-8 p.m. at Henderson and Sons Funeral Home.
We just stand amazed in all that God has allowed to be done through the life of our precious little man. We may never realize the total impact that his life has made this side of eternity, but will see the complete and perfect plan fulfilled in Heaven one day.
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Parker wanted me to tell you that he is very sorry that Michael died and that he will be praying for you and your kids.
I have a heavy heart as I read this, but also a heart of rejoicing. Michael Z touched so many lives. I never have met him in person, but am so excited that I will get to meet him someday. I rejoice that he is in heaven with our precious Lord and Savior.
My mom passed away 12 years ago and I truly believe that she is on the committee in heaven to greet children when they arrive. She loved children on earth and I'm sure she'll be lovin' on 'em in heaven. I know that if she has any say she'll be lovin' on your little man and that makes me smile.
I can truly say that every time I saw little Michael's face he brought me so much joy and made me smile. There were very hard days that I would have and I would think, if little Michael Z can be a fighter, so can I. Thanks for sharing your son with us.
I am so glad we met. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know Michael. I'm so glad that I got to run a 5k in his honor. I'm so glad that we have a God who is in control of EVERYTHING. We may not always like the outcome, but we know that He is in control.
I really wish I could be there with you for little Michael Z's funeral, but since you are there and I'm in Illinois it won't work out. Please know that I will be praying for you and that I will be there in spirit.

Going to bed tonight with continued prayers in my heart for you. I hope that the service for him was more blessed than you could have hoped for and that you experience Gods peace tonight and in all the days ahead. I miss him too.
